What is Cash on Delivery (COD)?

It is a payment method where you pay for an item in cash when the courier company delivers the item to you.

How does COD work?

You place an order on BAJAAO after verifying you mobile number. Once your phone number and your order is verified by our team, we process the product from our end and hand it over to our courier partner for delivery. You need to pay the complete amount in cash to the courier once the product is delivered to you. Please note, payment through cheque, draft or any other means will not be acceptable.

Is COD optional available for all products?

The COD option is only available for products that cost between Rs.2,500 - Rs.50,000 with an additional COD fee of Rs 79 and locations that fall under the serviceable range of our courier partners.

How do I check if my product or location is eligible for COD?

On every product page, we've put a box where you can put your pin code and check if your product and location is eligible for COD or not.

Why is COD option not available for my location?

Our reach in terms of COD option is limited by the reach of courier companies. Once you enter your pin code while ordering, we will tell you if COD is available at your location.

Why is COD option not available for high priced products?

Courier suppliers are not yet equipped to accept COD order that cost more than Rs.50,000; as of now. In case of a specific requirement, please give us a call at +91-22-42035353 or drop a mail at helpdesk@bajaao.com and we'll make sure our sales engineer reaches out to you.

What do I do if no one is at home when the courier company attempts delivery?

Courier companies will call you before coming over to deliver the item.

When do I need to pay the COD amount?

The order amount has to be paid in full before receiving the package and signing the delivery sheet. The package can be opened only after the payment is made.
