Conditions of participation

Article 1 (Basic Policies)

• These rules define promotion content as well as the relationship between rights and obligations for promotion applicants and Yamaha Corporation ("Yamaha" hereafter), with regard to promotions and surveys conducted by Yamaha.
• By applying to participate in a promotion, it will be assumed that you agree to these rules and agree to follow them. If you do not agree to these rules, please refrain from applying for participation in the promotion or responding to the survey.
• Yamaha reserves the right to change these rules without obtaining the prior consent of promotion applicants, and promotion applicants shall follow rules even if they have been changed.

Article 2 (Participation in Promotions)

• Yamaha will request that promotion applicant residing within India respond to surveys over email.
• In order to apply for participation in a promotion, an applicant must have registered as a user with Yamaha Music India, must own a Yamaha portable keyboard model PSR-I500 or PSR-I400, and must have registered the product serial number. Customers who have not completed user registration, do not own a PSR-I500 or PSR-I400, or have not provided their serial number cannot apply.
• A serial number that has already been registered for this promotion cannot be used to apply again. Note that customers who have purchased or obtained a used PSR-I500 or PSR-I400 from another user may be unable to apply for participation in this promotion.
• Customers who have purchased a PSR-I500 or PSR-I400 from a dealer other than an authorized Yamaha Music India dealer may not apply for participation in this promotion.
• Customers aged 18 or younger may not register their personal data. Customers aged 18 or younger who wish to apply for participation in this promotion may do so by having their parent or guardian register their own personal data (that is, the data of the parent or guardian). Any surveys should also be answered by the parent or guardian. Survey questions include questions meant for the individual actually using the product. If the individual answering the survey is not the individual actually using the product, these questions should be answered by the respondent after asking the individual who is actually using the product for their response.
• The deadline to apply for participation in this promotion is January 31, 2022 at 23:59 (JST). Promotion applicants must access the online response page indicated in the email received from Yamaha and respond online to all questions posted on this page by February 6, 2022 at 23:59 (JST). If it cannot be determined whether an applicant's responses on Yamaha systems are complete by February 6, 2022 at 23:59 (JST), the application to participate in the promotion will be canceled and a flowkey voucher code will not be issued.
• If you wish to cancel your participation in the promotion, contact us at ?act=14&lcl=en_IN. Any information entered during the promotion application process and any survey responses provided will be deleted. A flowkey voucher code will also not be issued in this case. Note that if a voucher that has been issued or has begun being used is lost, it might not be possible to access flowkey using that voucher code.
• Canceling participation in a promotion will not result in user registration information being deleted. If you wish to delete your user registration information, please log in to your account to access your My Page, and then select Cancel Membership to request that your information be deleted.
• If your user registration information is deleted, your participation in this promotion will also be canceled even if you did not request said deletion. However, any information or survey responses entered when applying for participation in the promotion will not be deleted. If you would like to have this information deleted, please contact us at ?act=14&lcl=en_IN. No flowkey voucher code will be issued in this case. Note that if a voucher that has been issued or has begun being used is lost, it might not be possible to access flowkey using that voucher code.
• Yamaha reserves the right to change promotion contents or the ending period of the promotion for any reason without providing prior notice. In this case, it will be assumed that any promotion applicants who are unable to respond even if they have already applied for the promotion consent to this. Yamaha accepts no liability for loss or damages suffered by promotion applicants if this occurs.
• Any Internet connection fees, communication fees, packet usage fees, and all other costs incurred when responding to a survey, confirming or changing registration information, or contacting Yamaha by phone, fax, or email are the responsibility of the promotion applicant. Any Internet connection fees, communication fees, packet usage fees, and all other costs incurred when contacted by Yamaha to make a request or for any other reason are the responsibility of the promotion applicant.
• Promotion applicants must respond to surveys honestly and must respond to all questions to the best of their ability.

Article 3 (Prohibited Actions for Promotion Applicants)

• Copyrights and other rights regarding information distributed or provided when requesting participation in surveys, etc., belong to Yamaha, and the provision of this information does not constitute a transfer of these rights to promotion applicants. Promotion applicants may not use the provided information without permission. It is prohibited to link or publish response site URLs without permission.
• Promotion applicants may not perform actions that correspond or could correspond to the following.

(1) Actions in violation of social standards

(2) Actions in violation of laws, regulations, or other laws and ordinances in Japan or India

(3) Actions that infringe on the copyrights or other rights of Yamaha, other promotion applicants, or third parties

(4) Actions that slander or libel other promotion applicants or third parties

(5) Actions that disadvantage other promotion applicants or third parties

(6) Political campaigning or similar actions

(7) Actions that hinder the operation of this promotion

(8) Providing false registration information or survey responses

(9) Intentionally providing completely blank responses

(10) Business activities not approved by Yamaha

(11) Registering or responding while impersonating someone else

(12) Providing duplicate applications or responses by a single promotion applicant

(13) Conducting intentional group posting by multiple individuals for specific questions

(14) Actions that result in disclosing or leaking survey contents or response site URLs to a third party (including after the promotion is over)

(15) Actions that result in the illicit use, transfer, or lending of a flowkey voucher code

(16) Selling or listing on an auction site, etc. a flowkey voucher code or any rights granted by a flowkey voucher code

(17) Actions that result in the illicit use of this site for commercial purposes

(18) Other actions deemed inappropriate by Yamaha

If Yamaha confirms any violation of the above on the part of a promotion applicant or any impropriety is determined by Yamaha, the promotion application may be cancelled for any reason without providing prior notification to the promotion applicant.

Article 4 (Handling of Response Data)

• All data sent and gathered from promotion applicants ("response data" hereafter) will be used and managed according to the Yamaha Privacy Policy. Please see the Privacy Policy for details.
• Personal data gathered from responses will not be provided to third parties without the consent of the promotion applicant.
• Personal data registered when applying for participation in a promotion will be deleted once the promotion has ended. However, personal data registered during user registration will be retained even after a promotion has ended. This data may be deleted by following the procedure described in Article 2 Item 7 of these rules.
• Response data excluding personal data may be viewed or downloaded by Yamaha, Yamaha Group Companies and local subsidiaries, and Yamaha partners ("Viewers" hereafter).
• Response data for written response questions is also retained in a format that can be viewed or downloaded by the above Viewers. Do not enter any information you do not want viewed or downloaded, such as personal data or any information that violates the rules presented in Article 3 of these rules. Yamaha and other Viewers accept no liability for any loss suffered by promotion applicants due to information provided in responses.
• Yamaha and other Viewers may freely use response data excluding personal data, and may disclose and publish response data even without the consent of the individual.
• Once a response is sent by a promotion applicant, Yamaha may not be able to respond to requests to confirm, disclose, modify, or delete response data with the exception of personal information of the promotion applicant.
• Promotion applicants may claim no rights including copyright for response data excluding personal data, and Yamaha may freely select, modify, edit, and delete response data.

Article 5 (Flowkey Voucher Codes)

• Customers who apply for participation in this promotion and who respond to the survey within the deadline will be provided with a voucher code for three months of free usage of flowkey.
• If Yamaha determines that a survey response violates Article 3 of these rules or that a clearly dishonest or inappropriate action or response was made, Yamaha may refuse to provide a voucher code or may cancel usage of a voucher code that has already been provided.
• Voucher codes will be sent to the email address the promotion applicant provided during user registration. Yamaha accepts no liability for voucher codes not being received due to erroneous registration information. Yamaha accepts no liability for loss or damages suffered by promotion applicants due to not receiving a voucher code at the registered email address.
• Yamaha will provide no support and accepts no liability with regard to the use of flowkey or registration of customer information. Please use flowkey only after reviewing documents provided by flowkey such as its terms of service and Privacy Policy.

Article 6 (Other)

• Yamaha provides no guarantee that information provided through this promotion is accurate, or that promotion applicants will be free from detriment or discomfort during this promotion.
• Yamaha accepts no liability even in cases where the loss occurs due to a promotion applicant being unable to obtain a flowkey voucher code as a result of this survey service being suspended or delayed or data being lost due to factors such as a data communications service or computer outage.
• Yamaha may revoke any and all premiums, etc. provided to promotion applicants and may seek claims for damages from the promotion applicant if the promotion applicant violates these rules or acts in a way that results in loss for Yamaha or a third party.
