I am an Amateur radio (ham radio) enthusiast and was looking for a good rugged dynamic microphone at a good price. Finding this version of Behringer mic has been referenced and recommended by hams all over the world and often on internet, I also went for one.
Bajaao dot com offered best price of all were very prompt in delivering the product safely too.
I have been getting great report from others when I am on this mic. I used a Maono condenser mic earlier and compared to it XM8500 sounds bright and pleasant to ears on my transmission. Maono sounds bit muffled in front of this, whatever the equalizer setting I would try on.
Note - I am using the mic through UR6QW 8 band noisegate equilizer to iCOM IC-7300 radio.

I have searched extensively, for purchasing a microphone for voice recording, initially I was planning to buy a condenser microphone but as my room is not noise treated and has high background noise (fan, street noise, neighbors, etc.) and also budget constraints. So, I purchased this Behringer Ultravoice XM8500 after watching several reviews. Seriously after buying this microphone i can see much improvement in the voice quality and gives a rich studio effect to my voice and does not picks any background noise. Mount it on a shock mount with pop filter you will see a great performance. This microphone is the "To Go" option for podcasters and YouTube video makers for giving voice over. Also, it comes with 3 years warranty The Behringer Ultravoice XM8500 paired with Behringer U-PHORIA UMC202HD audio interface is a best option for all who are looking for budget home studio under 10k. Second option - Behringer Ultravoice XM8500 + Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 for under 6k
Good but voice is not power ful
Dear Sir,As already mentioned in my previous fedback, the microphone which i have received is of no use for me as i do not have input device to which the microphone has to be attached. I thought the ordered microphone is a complete assembly.
I readyour return rules which hsay that microphone can not be returned.
But since it is of no use to me, kindly allow me to return the same.
