The Tascam CD-200BT has an antenna on the front that receives audio file playback signals originating from devices running software like iTunes, Windows Media Player and other apps whose playback is wirelessly transmitted through Bluetooth.
Bluetooth¨ playback uses a wireless connection, so no new wiring is necessary to use compatible audio sources as long as they are in signal-range, allowing easy and speedy playback.
The Tascam CD-200BT has a device selection function that pairs it with multiple devices, registering each one in advance, so once it's "familiar" with those devices, you can easily switch to the one you want without having to configure it every time. Only one device can be played back through the CD-200BT at a time, but switching devices is as simple as switching a song and the name of the each device is stored so the one playing back will be shown on the display, giving you also the ability to monitor the connection as well.
