I got this to try it in my bridge position of the strat, I use a Chopper pickup in the bridge( I have reviewed that as well). The Fast Track 2 sounds a lot like a humbucker than anything like a single coil. It's not as hot or loud as a full size Super Distortion humbucker. I would never try using this in the neck since it has quite less amount of top end & with the high output and midrange would make the neck position too muddy sounding.I don't use it at the moment since it's not the sound I want out of the particular strat I have, may find some use for it in the future. It does sound good though for rock/metal oriented strat. I would have liked to try the Tone Zone S as well if it were available, the little more bass would make it sound more convincing as a full size humbucker in mini form.
