I love these strings. Hands down!

I had to buy the 7 string set for my Strat because the 6 string set wasn't in stock and Amazon was selling them at a higher price. Fortunately, I could use some points to buy them here at an even lower price.
These strings feel just like the regular nickel wound strings despite the fact that the wrap wire is plasma treated with EB's everlast treatment, as they call it. I think they're coated; I'm not sure, but they don't feel as slippery as coated strings like the Titanium Coated Slinky strings that EB offers, or the Elixir Optiweb strings.
They even sound just like the regular nickel wound strings, so that's a bonus. Same sound and feel without any compromise. I had a set of 9-46 gauge strings once and they were terrific. They're a tad bit more expensive, but I guess they'll be worth it. I've always trusted Ernie Ball, and in my 9 years of playing, I've only had one G string on an 11 gauge set of EB Cobalt Slinky strings snap. In 3 weeks, I've had two Elixir strings snap, so I won't be buying Elixir again.
Ernie Ball claims that these strings are very durable, so let's see. I normally pick aggressively as I tend to use heavier gauges, so I'll probably buy the 11 gauge Paradigms soon.
If you're looking for a good set of durable and long lasting strings, you should go for these.
