Perfect amp

This bass amplifier is perfect for practicing at home and for gigging at a small venue or a jam pad. Good output for a 30W amp and great sound. The eq is great.

Very revealing, good fidelity combo

Very revealing amp. Shows all the flaws in your technique. I felt like quitting. You may skimp on the bass and buy a cheap one [cheap on sound, not on playability:) ], but not the amp.loud enough for low level home jamming ( 'bed room jamming' is misunderstood in the subcontinent :) ] with a keyboard, amped electronic drums , without annoying neighbours.Can't keep up with a live drum kit in a jam room setting.Playing a passive Ibanez gsr 180, plugged into high input - the normal input on the combo is noisy. The speaker hums if the grounding of the 3 pin socket is not proper.+ves: tiltback construction. Heavy, built like a tank. With two instrument inputs, maybe your teacher can jam with you.-ves: power cord not long enough. Carpet covering is a lint and hair magnet, but can be vacuumed. Speaker hums when powered on - maybe but to to with electrical grounding.Keep it low, keep the groove. Power to the music \m/Haven't piped out/ recorded from D.I out, can't comment on that.p.s: this is imported in India by 'potatos' music ;) , but Bajaao sells it for a steal.

A Great Bass Amplifier!

Getting this bass amp was one of my best investments. Its a 30W amp with a 10' speaker(always get a bass amp with a 10' driver) with an inbuilt switchable compression. The gain signal is great when you are looking for a gritty signal and a high output. The EQ is very precise with two separate knobs for mid(frequency and level). It has two inputs for both active and passive bass and its very powerful.The volume might lose clarity when you tweak it over 8 but the craftsmanship of the amp is excellent and its built to last forever. I have gigged, jammed and carried it around in my car for years and it still works like new. You would not be disappointing by it.A good buy!!!

Good bass amp

Really good bass amp. this amp is good for jamming. Really powerful amp.I hav a same amp. Mine is a second hand but sounds like a bitch. :)
