Just a bit of tuning and you'll love it even more. Also you can change the drum heads for even better sound but I'm using default heads, I play these while wearing my noise cancellation headphones so get the better feeling
Worth every penny .For beginners as well as for professionals
Best Acoustics Drums For Beginners and even professionalWorth every penny
You'll need to modify the tuning and response with gels and cloth but otherwise a good buy.
I have received this kit 3 weeks ago and I came with faulty floor tom hoop. Quality seems to be alright but the customer service has till not resolved this issue. Regrets,Abhijeet
totally worth the money!
For the price, this drum set is actually pretty good. It is surprisingly flexible between genres and the heads provided may not sound the best bus are very durable. The hardware provided is reliable but the hi-hat and crash that you do get with this drum set are utter trash. If you do choose to purchase this drum set it would be best to:1) Purchase new heads. (With experimenting I determined that these drums sound best with Evans hydraulic heads and Aquarian Performance ii)2) Purchase new cymbals. If you choose not to get the heads then when properly tuned with the 10" to F 13" to A and 16" to D Sabian B8x cymbals would be the cymbals to go for if you are on a budget but want to make this kit pop.3) If you are buying this make sure to upgrade your throne. The throne that comes with this kit is 5/10 at best. It is uncomfortable, unstable, and can cause major back issues. This isn't a throne you can play on for hours (it's actually better used as a laptop stand or practice pad for me).4) When tuned the overtones from all the toms can be very annoying so I recommend purchasing some dampening gel/moongel to help that. An alternative would be just to get the Evans hydraulic heads since they help with overtones or instead get some coated heads since they will last longer and help with the overtones. 5) I recommend upgrading the bass drum pedal that comes stock after the basics have been mastered. The bass drum pedal for this is not the best and will not last for a very long time (I use mine as a backup for jazz gigs).6) The snare stand does not go very low so it would be best that you buy a new snare stand if this is for someone below the height of 160 or pull a Nicko McBrian and tilt the Snare 45 degrees toward the player. 7) The floor tom legs can sometimes slip and move quite a bit so make sure to fasten them extra tight so that they do not move. 8) I recommend tuning this kit every 2-3 weeks after installing heads (new heads or stock...
