Completely analog. Great tones. Clean is good. The distortion has 4 stages of gain, going from pushed cleans to crunch to heavy distortion. This amp isn't for someone who wants 50 effects and features in-built. But does brilliantly what you want it to do. So you spend more time playing than just tweaking effects. Highly responsive to difference in attack and touch. If you see it available, jump for it.
