I have a Cort X1 guitar which sounded horrible to my taste. I couldn't sell or exchange it because its my first electric guitar and so it has emotional value to me. I decided to change its pickups just to see if it sounded any better. I chose the JB & JAZZ to go into my guitar just because all my favourite albums (from early Megadeth to Marty Friedman (Solo to countless others) are made using this pickup set. After installing the pickups the sound of the guitar changed abruptly for good. The Jazz produces the depth and definiteness that I always craved for. I play mainly Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Rock Instrumentals, and Heavy Metal. And the pickup deals with the genres effectively (Work with the tone and volume controls of your guitar for the tones you want out of it). Every note sings out great with the pickups. I switch to the SH2N playing jazz. The chords sounds whole and rounded, while soloing each notes define itself and sings out great. I'm also a great follower of shred era guitar players (Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, etc to Shawn Lane, Greg Howe, Ritchie Koetzen etc) and I love the wholeness & clarity of the tones it generates. Legato, Sweep picking to alternate picking, any technique I do, I find each note sings with clarity. I've Long been using DiMarzio high output pickups (DActivatorX and FS1) in my Ibanez RG550XH, and love the tones it produces. And now I've got a different combination of pickups with an exceptional ability, which I craved for long and I am very happy with it.In short, I recommend this Seymour Duncan SH2N to every one because 1. The clarity and wholeness of each individual notes it produces. 2. Depth and definiteness of tone you'll get out of it. 3. The chords sounds crisp, round and whole (that every jazz guitarists crave)

I have been chasing the tone by buying amps and pedals since last 4 years.I am happy with my bridge pick up tone which is SD TB-6.After watching lot of reviews I prefer the SH-2N neck pick up and I immediately got my sound that is my head.Initially I was bit skeptical whether it would be fit for my Bass wood body guitar or not ,but irrespective of tone wood it's the most transparent neck pick up and it complements almost bridge PUs from SD.Bajao did a great service by delivering it quick and offering a discount which I never expected.Literally Bajao becoming the sweet water of India. Cheers!!!
