5-String double bass This semi-solid 3/4 double bass is manufactured in Europe and features a fingerboard made from blackwood, which in terms of sound behaviour, look and playing feel is a suitable alternative (equal) to ebony The blackwood used in the making of this instrument is harvested from plantation pinewood (Pinus radiata) , and has been used here to support the preservation of natural ebony resources and protect rainforests.
