The sound is clear, it is light, and it is solidly built, making it an excellent value for the money. Even though I'm not a trained percussionist, I can definitely say that the cajon is perfection. If you're just starting off and want to check out a cajon with good quality without breaking the bank, I definitely recommend it. Vault's reasonably priced and high-quality goods do not let you down.

Actually excellent

This really doesn't let you down for a low-cost Cajon. For some acoustic band practice, I needed a cajon, and I was surprised for how loud this actually is. The snare impact will cut through the beautifully accompanied with deep bass tone. It's quite sturdy as well. I was concerned about that because I weigh a bit more than average, that this cajon wouldn't be able to support me when I'm sitting, but everything has turned out just perfect. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the product and would buy it again.

The sound is nice and clear

My first cajon, the Vault Beatbox Cajon, was a wise decision. As a drummer, I needed a instrument that would be portable and suitable for smaller venue gigs. I am content with my decision. The bass is moderate but very rich and powerful. Snare can be adjusted, yet the sound is still crisp and punchy. The BeatBox Cajon is a fantastic product at this pricing. It is not inferior to cajons used in mainstream music. The audio has a pleasingly rich and professional quality. The price makes it incredibly reasonable while maintaining good quality and finish.

Perfect for the price

I purchased this as my first cajon because I wasn't sure how often I would play. When the cajon was delivered, I checked all the joints before I started playing, I was astonished by how wonderfully it sounded and the craftsmanship as well. The snare's tone can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
