Meinl SB202 Flex Multi Rod Bamboo

my old hot rods were by promark that i loved and got quite used to but they were falling apart to the extent i could feel it while playing is the reason i bought new hot rods.
TLDR. these bamboo ones are quite versatile, cheap and im happy with using them over the last month of gigs.
Id say despite my research online telling me that the tone was slightly warm, i find them brighter than im used to. A pro is that i could use the rubber bands provided (or my own once i loose/break these) and adjust where i want more density which helps with tone. A subjective con is i got used to the grip of the promarks and now these feel a little stiffer, both with respect to how its shaped and the material used on the grips. But for 2k i think this is great!

the rebound is convncing compared to my old promark h rods

these rods are ideal for both cajon and drum set. very good product.
