I've had 5 different amps till date, before purchasing this one. All were solid state, so the craving for a tube amp was intense, more so because none of my previous amps could produce a fat and rich overdriven tone. That craving of mine lay dormant for so many years, because all the tube amps which had a modern sound, were not so friendly towards my wallet. So, when I got to know about this 10yrs anniversary series, I went on full alert. And boy oh boy, was it worth the wait! This is my first ever tube amp, so probably there's gonna be some bias in judgement. But to say it very frankly, of all the amps I've ever laid my hands on, this one has the best distorted/overdriven tone. I prefer to use my MXR Super Badass pedal on the clean channel for distortion. That tone is THE ONE, I've waited for so long. For all those guitarists, who prefer a modern sound over a vintage one, just take a look at the youtube reviews of this amp, and you'll understand what I'm trying to say. Adios, and Rock'n'roll.
