The almighty EHX big muff is probably one of the greatest pedals of all time. Its been tested for generations right from the 70's when it was introduced to still today and has featured on numerous guitarists tone including Hendrix , Gilmour , Page etc ... This Behringer is essentially a replica of the muff pedal .. and it comes quite close. Obviously with stomp boxes no two boxes are the same but this is indeed a good replicaAbout the box, on first inspection i found it to be built as a rock with its metal casing, as for the tone its a master at everything form subtle overdrive all the way to full thrash territory ... and the sustain that this pedal provides is astounding making this just heavenly for leads. Personally speaking it tends to sound bright but can be warmed up by turning down the tone and is perhaps my goto OVERDRIVE and lead drive pedal especially with a Marshall amp.
