After spending months searching for an acoustic bass, including visiting all guitar showrooms in Delhi, I chanced upon this one on the Bajaao website. After speaking to the Gear Specialist, I went ahead and booked the guitar. It arrived, as promised in 30 days (it is imported from Europe). The unboxing experience was great as the guitar was well packed and arrived in shining, scratchless condition. The fit and finish are excellent; no complaints there. I was surprised to find the guitar nearly in tune! The action on the bass is low and very comfortable. There is a minor buzz on the 2nd fret of the 1st string. I hope it will work itself out as the strings settle. The volume of the guitar is quite decent and will hold up well against another acoustic guitar. The electronics are quite decent too and amplified sound was nearly as good as my electric bass.Some aspects to be considered if you are contemplating this one: -- The size is really JUMBO. The frets are very wide and may pose a problem for bassists with smaller fingers.- The stock strings are really thick and are unlike anything I've ever played before. They also make the typical rasping noise of new bronze strings. I may consider going for nylon bass strings eventually.These minor cribs apart, I'm really pleased with my purchase, as I was looking for a bass to just pick up and practise. A great deal at the launch price of 16.5k.Interaction with Bajaao staff was seamless and totally satisfactory. Hope this helps.
