Courier delivered me the product in very bad condition but thank god the product was safe... Biginer book was not in the box... The cover was very poor quality and small.. not fitted with the guitar.. No any extra invoice was in the box..
I'm only an intermediate player and this is the first time I've ever used a classical. I got this instead of the entry level Yamaha because this offered a solid top and I generally liked the idea of supporting smaller brands. I have a Yamaha steel string and while its finished really well I thought it was just average in playability. Overall this is terrific value. Its quite robust in construction. I like the tone personally. I checked the intonation and it sounded good across the fretboard. Didn't have to adjust anything. The action is high as is expected from a classical. I really like the design and depth of the neck, it feels good in the hand. The pickup works but I haven't really used it beyond testing it initially. I'm not experienced enough to tell if this sounds better than other offerings in this price range, but I'm happy with it. The tuners felt ok as well from a usability standpoint.As for downsides, the finish could have been a bit better I think. The wood is kind of finished rough where the slots are cut into the head stock for the winders. You can see some irregular application of varnish or laquer or whatever they use in some places. The frets are a little rough to the touch on the edges although I don't feel it while playing. The markings sticker on the tone adjustment panel is not seated properly so it keeps lifting off. The soundbox and neck themselves are finished rather well though. But these are all minor niggles and I'm not deducting any points for these because this is not meant to be a premium offering and it still plays and sounds great to me. This would have felt like a premium guitar without these minor issues, so hope Bajaao sorts these out in the future. For now, I'm quite happy with my purchase.I ordered the Xtra Protect shipping, and the guitar came in a big strong cardboard box. No complaints on the shipping front.
