This is truly the most value for money les paul style guitar out there. Carefully and flawlessly constructed, great choice of woods, and genuine GIBSON pickups, seriously hard to beat. The sound is versatile with coil splitting. You can get warm, sweet tones too angry mean ones. Although les Paul's are notorious for losing their tuning, this one manages to stay in time except perhaps the G string. But it's only expected of this style. Docking one star for 2 reasons: 1. This guitar is seriously heavy. Can get uncomfortable when playing for a long time standing up. But I guess this is also a reflection of the top quality maple and mahogany. 2. Those strap locks are useless, but swapping them out for better button type locks is cheap and easy.
