Now I have been playing for about a year and this is my first guitar that I bought. Can't say that I have had any complains with it. It sounds great (at least to my ears) and the finish quality is just amazing for the price you are paying. Sure I had to take a filer and file my frets a little bit but that's about it. Literally EVERYTHING else on this guitar is as polished as it could be. Obviously if you compare it with a stratocaster then you will find some things are better done there, but then again that's what more money will get you. All in all, I could not have asked for a better guitar to start off my guitar learning with.
One downside to this guitar is that it does feel a little heavy. If you sit and practice then it shouldn't be problem. But if you are like me and you like to stand and play then it will take you a while to hold it for extended duration of time.
Apart from that, it is just perfect. Definitely go for it.
