The quality of this cable at this price range is quite unbelievable. I bought it to replace my spiral shielded Ibanez SI-10 cable and the difference in quality is remarkable. The difference due to the use braided copper shield is indeed significant. The obvious difference I noticed immediately is that the noise floor went down by a huge margin, the signal is now quiet and free of noise. The use of braided shield instead of spiral shield helps in maintaining a low transfer impedance to high frequencies which in turn is highly effective in shunting interference harmlessly to the ground. Due to the braided copper shield the shielding remains consistent in its coverage, and unlike the spiral shield it remains consistent in shielding even when the cable is flexed and bent, this ensures that the signal remains shielded from RFI.I highly recommend this cable to anyone who's looking for a reasonably priced but good quality instrument cable.
