It has been around a month since I have been playing this Ibanez GRG220PA1 RG Gio Series 6 String Electric Guitar. The playing on this guitar feels extremely smooth. The frets, intonation and spacing is all good for my liking. The strings that it comes with are decent (may change for playing of your style, I prefer extra light strings). The guitar in itself is a beauty to look at. For the price you cannot get a much beautiful guitar than this in this range.
The tone and the high gain crunchy sound can be easily achieved if you like to get your guitar scream while shredding. The 5 way pickup selector is a great addon, giving us an open ground to run. The weight and hold for the guitar is also great. I coupled it with an Ibanez Powerpad GSF50-RD Adjustable Guitar Strap and it looks amazing. The strap is well cushioned to hold the weight comfortably on shoulder for a seamless live playing or jamming session.
If you are having a thought of buying it, just go for it. I would highly recommend this guitar. Love it!!!
