At times when people make business by selling inferior quality music stands that would last only for 6 months to a year, I would strongly recommend you to invest a little more. Manhasset music stands are undoubtedly the best, and it comes with full pneumatic control. You don't have any knobs or livers to adjust the height. You just increase the height by pulling it up, and reduce it by pushing it down, that's it. No tightening of any screws or knobs that would break after a months use! Once assembled, it lasts for at least ten years [from my experience]. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to have peace of mind, and save some money over the years. Remember, this review comes from an international music educator, who has used these stands more than ten years!
