Pretty good

The neck of the guitar is really smooth, the 24 frets are really helpful and the 2 volume knobs will help you make the Tom Morello scratching, and this guitar really is useful for metal and rock, im using Ernie Ball 10s on this and it has a great country feel when playing clean and soloing. But there are some downsides, the guitar has a smaller/not so broader scale and frets so if you have different guitars it will be tough to transition from one another, its somewhat tough to move from one string to another fast but that could just be me playing bad, and its heavy in weight.. if you can handle heavy weights and if you can easily change from this guitar to another one and if you are under budget and like metal. This is honestly the perfect guitar for you, and its usful for beginners to intermediate. Cause of the smooth neck you can also slide fast.

Great guitar for metal

I have been playing guitar for 6 years and i wanted to buy and esp ltd because they're known mostly for their metal background. This guitar is well built, i recieved it in a pretty good condition. It comes loaded with daddario strings. The pickups sound really good for distortion and overdrive, and kind of resemble EMGs. The clean tone is heavy and majorly on the bottom end, probably due to the basswood body. It does the job for blues pretty well too, like a light overdrive for some smooth soloing. I bought it in satin black finish, so the neck is really smooth. It sounds like the EC-100qm, the only difference seems to be the finish. It's really fun and easy to play. Go for it if you are a metalhead, you won't be disappointed!
