I haven't bought it from here. But I own this one and it's a must-have for bass players. 1 its a DI box so you're using a direct signal during gigs which is any day better than an instrument jack connection. 2. The pedal acts like an amp modeller so if you don't own a bass amp but you still want to tune in some fender or ampeg type tones rather than just fiddling with the eq on the PA, then this helps a great deal. Please note you won't get exact Fender and Ampeg voicings but you can dial in tones that will make your bass sound like it's running through an amp and not just plug n play PA system. Its only con is that it is a plastic build so take care don't drop it or stomp it too hard. In simple words this is the poor mans Sansamp Tech 21.
