Believe me, it is one of best overdrive pedals in the Market.Very smooth, Mid is not humped, so you will get a lot of singing lead tone with bridge as well as Neck pick up.I had BD-2, TS-9 and TS808, OCD but most of the time It is always on, on my pedal board.To add extra flavour to my distortion & Metal rhtytm tone I use it as a boost, Ohh Boy!!!I just Love it.It has it's own characterstic, but compared all my other pedal it is the smoothest one and it is not crazy as OCD, BD-2, which are Overdrives but with lots of Gain.Definitely recommend, A must buy for all level of Musician, Hey That's just my opinion:))Again I got a pretty good deal from Bajaao, again I would be missing something if I would not HAD BOUGHT it.Thanks to Bajaao and Boss!!!Cheers to allKeeep Rocking!!!

As all other Boss pedals this one is build to last. A very simple OD pedal which works great and driving the amp on solos. Serves my purpose of having it.
Awesome over drive pedal with a vintage tone. Its an absolute steal at this price!
At first glance: This pedal is built like a tank. It might even survive a nuclear holocaust.. All the knobs are smooth and very well responsive to changes. Tone wise: This pedal can do from a mild boost to super over-driven crunch tones. Even with all the settings maxed out this pedal maintains the integrity of the tone. It responds very well to the playing dynamics and cleans up fairly well while backing out the volume from the guitar's volume knob. And even at highest settings the pedal remains completely noiseless. All in all a great overdrive pedals for all the rockers out there. There is a tone in this box for everyone!!Along with that Bajaao's delivery service was awesome!!!
Although it can be used as a stand-alone OD pedal over a clean channel.. It really shines when used to boost an already overdriven channel on the amp.. I would recommend this pedal highly for anyone who doesn't want to spend loads of money on expensive OD pedals but wants to get a proper OD sound. I own the bad monkey (my fav), TC Mojomojo, TC dark matter (2nd fav).. bought all of these from Bajaao.. great pedals all. but SD-1 holds its own among all these..
