I bought this mainly because I wanted to play Rage Against the Machine songs. I later discovered that this was more versatile than I thought. I have been using it with clean funk riffs and it adds flavour to the tone. The built is good & great for live use as well. Sound: EVH phase 90 has a much more organic sound than any other phaser I have used.Durability & Make: It is tough, strong, sturdy and has good switch control. Overall: Yes, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants an edgy overdriven & distorted sound, apart from its magic with clean sounds coupled with a Reverb or Delay pedal.
