I got this violin for my daughter. Everything is well-made. It's a pleasure to hold it in hands and play. Took time for strings to get fully stretched, but once they were (in about 1 week), my daughter could tune to strings herself with the help of the fine-tuners. It's definitely one of the best choices for an "ambitious" beginner.
