Ibanez JS2400 Joe Satriani Electric Guitar
The first 24-fret fingerboard JS model is Joe Satriani's newest adventure in guitars and includes his favorite DiMarzio pickups. The legendary, original Edge tremolo bridge is back, always Joe's favorite in feel and tone. A high pass filter on volume pots maintains highs at low volumes and a push/pull coil tap adds sound and tonal variations for both pickups.

The guitar is good no doubt. The bridge pick up is nice for shredding n has pretty high gain for Legato stuff. I feel it has a bit too much mids generally. The single coil is cool. But every other single coil in this price range is cool too. The Guitar has a cut at the back which allows it to settle on the player well. But still...I own a Steve Vai Gem and I would strongly recommend it more than the JS variants. The Gem has more stuff into it. Simple...it's a killer guitar with a wide range of tonal span. You could even get a Country tone out of the 2nd pick up position both ways. And as mentioned, the 'great' Keba Jeremiah uses it. But doesn't play ANYTHING Joe Sat plays so guys it's a matter of comfort. And since I play both Steve Vai AND Joe Sat I guess I have more say in this matter lol!!! It's a good guitar period. But nothing compared to the Steve Vai Gem.
I was thinking that Steve Vai series is the best the guitar in india....but when I played this guitar in th shop.... I understood that that i am a fool...this guitar is really lovely......Awesome piece.......... Even the great musician Keba Jeremiah use this guitar only......Soo cute... just longing for this piece ..........
