Hi All, the Samson mini mixer is pretty good in terms of what it is expected to do. I'm using this with my TC helicon Mic Mechanic 2, must say the pre amp is excellent. I'm connecting this mixer - pre amp to my Yamaha Amp. I tested this mixer by playing my Flute and the sound quality is super, there are no hissing / humming sounds and the output is quite clean. I would recommend this those of you who wish to connect a mic, keyboard/guitar for gigs or for jamming purposes, I have used this with my flute as i mentioned on stage and this is pretty awesome !!Regards,Venkat
Samson S-Mix 5-Channel Mini Mixer
I have just received this product and use it for two purposes.1. Karoke: Just plugin a mic into input 3 and a laptop to input 4/5. Output to any speaker unit with RCA in's. Find the Karoke track you want on youtube and you have a small portable karoke unit. Works great for this.2. Small living room Jam sessions. Plugin a guitar/bass/key board and mic. Plug into any home stereo system and you have a small setup. I also use this as a DI box when connecting a bass and guitar to my yamaha mg10xu for recording. Over all a great all round mixer for the price.Only con is there is no eq or an on/off sqitch.
