Really satisfying bass sound. Earlier i was using sela se037 quick assembly kit. Its playing surface (tapa) is soft as compared to this se107. This cajon provides better and balanced bass sound.
This is the best cajon available as of now. Better than Pearl and all else. The bass is good and so are the high notes, the playing surface is nice to touch. You can easily play ghost notes with the special corners provided, the tunable snare and also the option to add an extra snare gives you plenty of sound options. The adjustable snare lever is a treat when you want to shift on the go, never lets you down. For best results use with a Roland Cajon Processor and a LP Cajon saddle for longer sessions. My suggestion would be to simply go for this Cajon if you are looking for quality sound.
