Fantastic microphone by Sennheiser. We use it for a live acoustic duo and it works great with vocals. Warm sounding with great presence. Were using the s version that has an on/off switch as well.

This is an amazing mic for vocals. It sounds clean and warm. Apart from vocals, I used it to record acoustic guitar and violin and it sounded equally great. Though a condenser would have served that purpose better but in this price range and the tonal quality it produces this mic is an absolute winner.

I really like this mic and the sound it puts out.It is a very clean, crisp, high output microphone that can be used for any application.live it sounds great. I have noticed that it has a good boost that adds to the vocal quality.For the price, it does a good job and thats what I needed.
