Shure PG42-USB Microphone

The PG42 is Designed specifically to reproduce the complexities of the vocal range, the PG42USB side-address condenser connects easily to your computer's USB port to conveniently setup for digital recording. The PG42USB uses the same highly sensitive large cardioid diaphragm, used in the PG42, to reproduce vocal performances clearly and easily thanks to the simplicity of Plug and Play USB connectivity. Not a great mic

I am yet to undergo full testing but my first recording in my quite office environment has captured quite a bit of background noise. I haven't tested other mics so, can't really compare but the expectation from Shure was really high.
